Umbali Running Mexico Chasing Distance Together Across Mexico City
Umbali Running Mexico was founded in 2014 by coaches Adrian and Sebastian, starting with just seven runners in Costa Rica before expanding to more than 150 members across Mexico City and beyond. The name draws from Swahili, meaning distance, a fitting reflection of the crew's commitment to structured training and personal growth. Led by certified coaches, Umbali Running Mexico brings runners of every pace together five days a week at iconic locations: the forested trails of Bosque de Tlalpan on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and the track work at Villa Olímpica on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The community is built on mutuality, acceptance, and genuine fun, where runners are grouped by pace so everyone is challenged and no one is left behind.
