Gorky Park Runners Grew from Weekend Runs into a Moscow Institution

Gorky Park Runners began in 2012 when four friends decided Sunday mornings were made for running through Moscow's most iconic park. What started as a simple habit has grown into one of the city's most recognisable crews, now around 20 runners strong. They believe running belongs to everyone, showing up at every Moscow race to cheer and support their community. The atmosphere is warm and unpretentious, rooted in genuine friendship forged over kilometres. You'll find them most Sundays at 11:00 at Work Station Gorky, or Tuesday evenings at 19:45 at the Nike Store, ready to welcome anyone willing to lace up.

They run for joy, not performance. Acceptance, friendship, and the promise of a cold beer at the finish line define the philosophy here. Founders Running Club San Francisco Running Where Startups and Sneakers Meet

Founders Running Club started in San Francisco in June 2022 when Tim, a startup founder, decided running and entrepreneurial culture should share the same ecosystem. What began as a small group quickly expanded into a thriving community of founders, investors, builders, creators, and curious minds united by the belief that great communities compound over time. Weekly runs launch from the William McKinley Monument, splitting into 5K and 10K groups that trace past Golden Gate Bridge views and through San Francisco's most storied neighborhoods. The crew operates on the same principles that build successful startups, openness and collaboration define the experience. No gatekeeping, no cliques, just people running together and building something meaningful at the intersection of movement and ambition.
