Parkdale Roadrunners Every Damn Tuesday on the Streets of Toronto
In October 2010, a T-shirt joke at a Parkdale café-gallery sparked something real. Mike founded the Parkdale Roadrunners and transformed a neighbourhood gathering space into a thriving running community. Over a decade later, more than 500 members strong, the crew is led by captains Michelle, Lisa, and Justin who embody the core belief: no fees, no gatekeeping, no one left behind. Every Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. at Stay Gold in Parkdale, runners gather for routes that shift and paces that spread wide. The Parkdale Roadrunners have shared weddings, losses, marathons, and tattoos. This is what a real running community looks like.
