LibuRUN Running the Holidays and Streets of Pekanbaru Since 2014
LibuRUN started in Pekanbaru in 2014 when a small group of movement enthusiasts decided that running should feel like a holiday, not a chore. Built on the simple premise that libur (holiday) plus running equals joy, the crew grew from a handful of friends into a 150-strong community spanning doctors, creatives, workers, and students. There's no gatekeeping here, just people who show up for the run and the friendship that comes with it. Three weekly runs anchor the crew: Tuesday and Friday evenings at Sudirman City Square and Tugu Perjuangan, and Sunday mornings at Tugu Zapin. In LibuRUN, movement through Pekanbaru's streets is an invitation to belong.
