Who We Are

BMO Running Club launched in Dublin in July 2025 with a simple belief: running together beats running alone. What started as a handful of friends chasing Sunday runs and homemade sourdough buns has grown into a crew of around 50 runners, all paces, all welcomed. Built on the philosophy that comfort is boring, BMO Running Club exists for people who want to grow and refuse to do it solo. The real community happens in the post-run hang, coffee in hand and fresh buns on the table. Sunday Socials are the heartbeat, a 5K together followed by the ritual that keeps everyone coming back.

Think: after-work movement, good company, and a wind-down drink to ease into “Little Friday.” It’s casual, inclusive, and made for every kind of runner (yes, even if you don’t feel like a runner yet). We keep it simple — one 4 km loop around Harolds Cross and back to Peggy Kelly’s. Just enough to shake off the day. The point is to move, chat, and enjoy it. Because the truth is: You’re already fitter than anyone who stayed on the couch. 👟 THE DETAILS: • Distance: 4 km loop • Pace: 6:00–6:30 min/km (all levels welcome, walk breaks totally fine) • Start time: 19:00 • Start/finish: @ Peggy Kelly’s, Harolds Cross • Post-run hang: sodas, kombucha, NA beers, wine — or just water and great chats Come run, walk, hang, and help shape what this becomes.
