8000 Running Born in Bruges and Built on Friendship and Speed
8000 Running started in 2013 when two colleagues in Bruges got tired of running alone and decided to build something better. Belgium's first dedicated running crew, 8000 Running has grown to around 30 runners who believe personal bests and genuine friendship belong in the same sentence. The crew trains hard, travels together, and eats well, maintaining a competitive but warm vibe that's driven without ever being serious enough to stop laughing. Every Thursday at 8 pm, they meet at Bergh Sports to run through Bruges' cobblestones and canals, where the real magic happens: faster times chased alongside people who actually matter.
