Velvet Runners Chasing the Adriatic Wind in Senigallia
Velvet Runners began on the Adriatic coast in January 2021 when two friends returned from a marathon in Valencia with a shared vision, gathering a handful of runners who quickly became a tight-knit community in Seligallia, Italy. Built on the belief that running belongs to everyone, Velvet Runners operates without entry barriers, membership fees, or prerequisites. Around ten runners call this crew home, united by the philosophy that joy and camaraderie matter far more than pace or finish times. New faces are always welcome in this warm, open, genuinely fun atmosphere. The crew meets Tuesday mornings at 7:00 and Friday evenings at 18:30 at Piazzale della Libertà, running seafront promenades and rolling hills where salt air and good company make every outing worth showing up for.
