Who We Are

TIRUN emerged in 2016 when two running enthusiasts organized Run 4 Autism Albania in Tirana, a charitable event that sparked something larger. What began as a single race evolved into a thriving running community united by a straightforward mission: inspire more people in Tirana to run. The crew, anchored by a dozen core members, welcomes occasional runners at local and international races, with members of the Albanian diaspora joining from around the world. Every Saturday at 7:00 AM, TIRUN gathers at the Grand Park of Tirana for an open run, a weekly ritual that keeps the community growing and connected to their city.
