Tyson Baker is a runner, storyteller, and community builder from California’s Central Valley. He helped found Salty Run Club, a growing community built around movement, camaraderie, and post-run beers at Salty Walrus Brewing Co. Beyond leading local miles, Tyson’s passion for running has taken him far, from running across Portugal coast to coast, to completing a charity run across Nebraska to raise awareness and support for Multiple Sclerosis. His projects, including The Drifter’s Journal, reflect a deep love for exploration and storytelling, capturing the beauty of endurance, community, and the open road.

Born from Wednesday evening runs that gather at Salty Walrus Brewing Co., this crew has grown into something bigger than pace or performance. Founded in 2025, the club draws runners, locals, and friends of all abilities who value consistency and honest miles over speed. There are no splits here, no race times, no pressure to be anything other than present. The philosophy runs deep: what matters is showing up week after week, sharing the run, and landing those conversations that only happen after exertion and friendship collide.
