Who We Are

Running Gooses started in Göttingen in January 2023 when Michael decided that friendship matters more than pace. What began as a simple idea has grown to around ten runners who gather every Wednesday evening with no fees, no requirements, just a shared love of moving together. Members come from all running backgrounds, marathon runners alongside trail enthusiasts, each bringing their own story. The crew stays intentionally small so newcomers are never strangers for long. Every Wednesday at 19:00, the group meets at Jahnstadion for six to ten kilometres of interval training through the city streets. Running Gooses believes the best training partner is someone who actually wants to be there.
