New Breed Runners Redefining the Running Scene in Zurich
New Breed Runners launched in Zurich in July 2023 when five friends decided nobody should run alone. Built on connection rather than competition, the crew has grown into a warm, open community where runners of all levels gather every Thursday at Lochergut tram station. The philosophy is simple: mutual support, acceptance, and the joy of moving together. Each of the five captains brings something different to the group, creating a vibe where showing up for each other matters more than pace or distance. The signature Thursday 7 pm run covers 8 to 10 kilometres through Zurich with pace groups keeping things comfortable for everyone.
