Genk Running Crew emerged in November 2023 from a desire to break free from rigid jogging club structures. Founded by ex-athletes who craved something more open and welcoming, the crew built community around a simple philosophy: no barriers, no pressure, just runners who show up and move together. What started as a response to traditional club culture has grown into a gathering place for runners across Genk and the surrounding regions. The crew blends social paces with tempo efforts during group runs, and regularly ventures beyond city limits for weekend trips and away runs that deepen the bonds between members.
