Gegen Running grew out of Gegenpresse, a Berlin football community built on weekly matches and a shared magazine. When the crew laced up running shoes, they brought their friendships with them. Founded in June 2024, Gegen Running is rooted in genuine connection, where strangers become teammates and teammates become friends, one run at a time. They gather at Tempelhofer Feld, Berlin's iconic open space, bringing a philosophy that blends football, running, creativity, and cold drinks after every session.
