Capital Runners Vilnius Running the City as a Living Cultural Journey
Capital Runners Vilnius began in 2016 when two friends returned home after years living in Hong Kong and Amsterdam, determined to bring something authentic to their city. They built a crew on the belief that running frees borders and opens doors that might otherwise stay closed. Today, around 100 runners gather every Wednesday at 18:30, setting off from a different Vilnius location each week. Ministers, Olympic athletes, teachers, start-up founders, and neighbors run the same pavement after the same starting whistle. Each run ends not at a finish line but with conversation, a host, and a story that makes every Wednesday utterly different from the last.
