Beat Run Crew Finding Istanbul's Rhythm One Monday at a Time
Beat Run Crew started in January 2017 when four friends from different walks of life decided Istanbul's urban grind needed interrupting. They planted themselves on the Asian side of the city and built something that stuck. Today, more than 250 runners call the crew home, drawn from every neighborhood and every pace. The philosophy is simple: beat the city on your own terms, and trust the people running beside you. Every Monday at 19:45 on the Şaşkınbakkal coast, members gather for BeatMonday, running three distances with dedicated pacers before cooling down by the water. The crew welcomes everyone, from first-timers to fast ones, in a space that feels genuinely grounded and open.
