Air Up There Run Crew Building an Inclusive Running Home in Hamilton
Air Up There Run Crew was born in May 2019 when Moe and Brad, new to Hamilton, couldn't find a running community that matched their values. What started as a gap in the city's running scene became a deliberate space for change. With around 15 runners gathering weekly, Air Up There is anti-racist, anti-oppressive, and committed to making running genuinely welcoming for BIPOC communities. Every Saturday at 8:30 a.m., they meet at One For All to run hard and with purpose, lifting each other up on the road and in the conversations that follow. Here, distance covered matters less than the solidarity built with every stride.
