The idea to start NDG Run Rite Athletics Club came from Jeremy, the co-founder and lead designer of Ciele Athletics, a locally-based apparel brand.
In mid-2017 he approached a few local run leaders with the goal of hosting weekly, free community runs out of Ciele’s studio in Notre-Dame-de-Grace. So it was that Butch and Lecia (ex-East Laurier co-captain), P-A (Yamajo co-captain) and Martin (ultrarunner/lunatic) birthed the NDG Run Rite Athletics Club. NDG stands for Notre-Dame-de-Grace.
Our pace is all over the place, we drink as hard as we run, we encourage what many would consider to be “bad ideas”. We are brought together by running, but glued together by open-mindedness and the desire to promote running as a cultural activity.
Every Thursday at 7:00 pm we meet us for an 8-12 km run with some hills and a small trail section in the middle. So if you should be around, come by and join us.
