Uniting Soles and Spirits: The Dynamic Journey of MNKS Run Crew

In the bustling heart of Mexico City, an extraordinary running crew emerged from a shared passion for pounding the pavement. It was May 2017 when JavierPablo, and Luis Miguel came together with an audacious dream: to conquer the streets and forge a community of runners bound by a sense of camaraderie like no other. Thus, MNKS Run Crew was born, a testament to the power of unity, grit, and the exhilaration of the run.

From Project Zoom to Boston Bound

MNKS Run Crew began as an amalgamation of two Nike projects, Zoom and Shanka, both fueled by a common goal – to qualify for the prestigious Boston Marathon. As destiny would have it, 11 out of the 12 crew members clinched their coveted spots, marking the victorious culmination of their shared pursuit. Shanka, once exclusively a women’s crew with diverse aspirations, gradually evolved into a melting pot of friendships as weekend long runs brought runners together profoundly.
