KIIN RUN CLUB A Vibrant Community Embracing Movement and Connection in Paris

The Kiin Run Club emerged in Paris in June 2020, founded by Maria, who sought more than just exercise in a new city. As the world began to reopen after lockdowns, Maria reached out to three gym acquaintances to join her for a run, sparking what would become a close-knit community. Starting from those first tentative steps through the streets of Paris, the crew gradually attracted runners from all backgrounds, creating a supportive environment that extends beyond the physical act of running.

Embracing The Art Of Movement Together

Kiin Run Club’s philosophy centers on inclusivity and shared progress. Their name, combining “Kin” and the Greek “Kean,” reflects a tribe moving as one. The motto The Art of Movement captures the crew’s belief that running is more than a workout—it is a celebration of the body’s capabilities and a form of expression. Welcoming all paces, the club coined the term “Sexy Pace” for their slower groups, ensuring that every runner feels valued and no one is left behind.

Where Strangers Become Kinfolk

The crew has grown to around 50 members, forming a medium-sized group that welcomes Parisians and newcomers alike. The community thrives on mutual respect and encouragement, blending diverse stories into a shared journey. For many, Kiin Run Club is a space to find connection and confidence in a new environment. Through social media and weekly runs, the crew nurtures friendships that extend beyond running shoes and city routes.

Gathering At Le Pelotón For Key Runs

Kiin Run Club meets twice weekly at Le Pelotón Café, a Parisian hub where runners assemble energized and ready. Wednesday mornings at 7 and Sunday at 9 offer runs ranging from 7 to 15 kilometres, with pace groups spanning from 4:40 to 6 minutes per kilometre. These sessions blend fitness with camaraderie, winding through Paris’s iconic streets and parks, inviting runners of varying levels to share the experience.

An Open Invitation To Join Kiin

Kiin Run Club welcomes anyone eager to run, regardless of experience or speed. The crew fosters an environment free of judgment, encouraging runners to discover their own potential within a supportive community. Interested runners can connect through social media channels or attend the regular runs at Le Pelotón Café, stepping into a group that values movement and friendship equally.

Running As A Thread In Parisian Life

The club fits seamlessly into Paris’s vibrant running culture, which pulses through the city’s streets, parks, and riverbanks. Kiin Run Club members share in a tradition of using running not only for health but also as a means to engage with the city’s energy and heritage. Their gatherings contribute to a broader movement that celebrates Paris as a dynamic backdrop for runners.

Discovering Paris Through The Runner’s Lens

Paris offers varied routes that showcase its beauty and history, from the Seine River Pathway with views of the Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame, to the expansive Bois de Boulogne and the lush Parc des Buttes-Chaumont. Kiin Run Club’s routes weave through these landscapes, blending urban charm with nature’s tranquility and historical grandeur.

Moments Of Triumph Along The City’s Roads

Beyond weekly runs, the crew celebrates milestones such as completing half marathons together. These shared successes highlight the crew’s spirit of collective determination and mutual support.
