Force Running Club started during the first Barelang Marathon back in December 2017 in Batam, Indonesia. Ten of us were running and finishing the 10k category together, hand in hand. From that point, we started weekly runs on Thursday nights. Runners brought more friends which made the crew grow bigger and bigger.
At a certain point we decided to have our own running sessions, and encourage people to start a healthy lifestyle, especially the young hearts. At that time there were not many young people interested in running.
Our mission is to share the joy of a healthy lifestyle and of course, running! And that’s where the name comes from, Force Running. We are running at least three times a week. Our social runs are usually on weekdays and long runs on weekends. During race season we also do interval and speed sessions.
