They stand out for their regular training sessions at different spots around Lisbon, with options like track workouts, mixed-terrain runs, and trail sessions, so there’s something for everyone.

Correr Lisboa: Uniting the Seven Hills of Lisbon, One Runner at a Time

Correr Lisboa started in April 2013, when Bruno wanted to build a running community in Lisbon. It began with a few friends and soon grew into a big group that welcomes runners of all levels.

Correr Lisboa is all about community. The group believes running brings people together, even though it’s an individual sport. They aim to create a supportive space where everyone, from beginners to experienced marathoners, feels welcome.

Correr Lisboa offers training sessions in different parts of Lisbon, from the city center to Odivelas and Amadora. This helps bring together a lot of runners and connects people from many places.

Correr Lisboa is active and organized, with regular training sessions for different needs. For speed work, they meet at the Professor Moniz Pereira Track. In Odivelas, group runs happen at the Multisport Park of Colinas do Cruzeiro, with different pace groups. For mixed terrain, they run from Decathlon in Amadora. Parque das Nações is another spot for group runs. The toughest workouts are at their base in Monsanto Forest Park, for those who want a challenge.

Anyone can join Correr Lisboa and try out running in Lisbon. There are training sessions at different places during the week, so you can pick what works for you. Check their social media for the latest schedule and details, like if you need a CML card for the track.

Lisbon is known for its hills, old trams, tiled buildings, and views over the Tagus River. The city’s steep streets and scenery make it a memorable place to run.

Correr Lisboa trains in some of the best places to run in Lisbon. Parque das Nações has flat paths by the river and the Vasco da Gama Tower. Monsanto Forest Park has lots of trails for those who like running in nature. Other popular routes go from the city center to Belém, past the Discoveries Monument and Belém Tower.

Correr Lisboa members take part in Lisbon’s big races. The Lisbon Marathon, part of the Rock 'n' Roll Marathon Series, is a highlight with its course along the waterfront. The crew also enjoys the São Silvestre races on New Year’s Eve, especially the São Silvestre de Lisboa and São Silvestre da Amadora, which bring lots of runners out to finish the year.
