Their morning runs soon attracted more runners who wanted to be part of their team. Recognizing the need for a cohesive identity, the club’s leader, Yoonsun Choi, came up with the name “Chadol Running Club” based on her beloved cat, Chadol. This feline inspiration gave the team its name and served as the foundation for its unique logo and team character.

Every Sunday at 9:30 am, the Chadol Running Club gathers in Mangwon-dong, Mapo-gu, to embark on their weekly run. The route covers 5 to 10 kilometres, with a pace of 4:40 to 6:00 minutes per kilometre. It’s not just about running for the sake of it; the crew spices up their routine with interval training and trail running, providing a variety of challenges to keep things exciting.
